About

Biostatistician, Statistician, Mathematical Statistician, and Lecturer with a passion for using data-driven research to address real-world challenges in public health, environmental sustainability, and social development. I am a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, Ghana, where I teach, mentor students, and conduct interdisciplinary research. My research interests span biostatistics, mathematical statistics, applied statistics, machine learning, Bayesian statistics, time series analysis, zero-inflated and over-dispersed count models, multivariate modeling, and statistical computing. I have served as an editorial team member, authored, and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognized journals, with research focusing on maternal and neonatal health, infectious diseases, climate and environmental modeling, socioeconomic inequalities, and predictive analytics. Beyond research, I am committed to promoting maternal and neonatal health, inclusive education, mentoring the next generation of statisticians, and fostering collaborations that bridge academia, public health, industry, and policy. I actively contribute to the scientific community through journal peer review, conference presentations, professional service, and community engagement initiatives aimed at improving health and educational outcomes. My objective is to leverage statistical science, machine learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration to generate evidence-based solutions that improve lives and support sustainable development globally. I welcome opportunities for research collaboration, academic partnerships, consulting, and interdisciplinary projects that apply statistical methods and data science to solve complex public health and societal challenges.
