About
Dr. Sahil Garg received his Ph.D. from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, India, and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), Montréal, Canada. He is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering, Applied Science, and Technology, Canadian University, Dubai, and an Adjunct Faculty at the Centre for Research Impact and Outcome, Chitkara University, India. He also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at ÉTS, Montréal, and gained extensive industry experience with Ultra Communications, the Resilient Machine Learning Institute (ReMI), and Ericsson in Montréal, Canada. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, cloud computing, and vehicular ad hoc networks. He has published in top-tier journals including IEEE COMST, ACM Computing Surveys, IEEE TII, IEEE TMM, IEEE TVT, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE TSUSC, IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Network, IEEE Wireless Communications, IEEE CE Magazine, Elsevier's FGCS, Information Sciences, Information Fusion, Adhoc Networks, Computer Networks, and Alexandria Engineering. He currently serves as Senior Editor for Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences and as Associate Editor for Elsevier Applied Soft Computing, Elsevier Alexandria Engineering, and Wiley International Journal of Communication Systems. He has previously served as Managing Editor for Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences and as Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, IEEE Network Magazine, IEEE Systems Journal, and Elsevier Future Generation Computer Systems. Dr. Garg has received multiple Early Career Research Awards and Best Paper Awards. He has been recognized in top 2% researchers by Stanford University as well as one of the Highly Ranked Scholars™ in ScholarGPS rankings, placing him in the top 0.05% of scholars worldwide.
