About
Rajeev Kumar’s teaching and research activities span over four decades in the areas of machine learning, programming language systems, software engineering, multimedia and evolutionary computing. He is a Professor of Computer Science at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) New Delhi. He has earlier served at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur / Kanpur and Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani. Prior to his academic tenure, he worked as a Scientist in Dept. Science & Technology (DST) and Defense R & D Organization (DRDO) in India. He holds a doctoral degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Sheffield and a master's degree in Computer Science & Technology from the University of Roorkee (now, IIT Roorkee).
