About
I am Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, India. My clinical practice and research focus on temporomandibular joint (TMJ) reconstruction and replacement, orthognathic surgery, craniofacial trauma, patient-specific implants, and microvascular reconstruction.
I currently serve as Controller of Examinations, Indian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (IBOMS) and am an Associate Editor of the Journal of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery.
I am an ICMR–DHR Young Medical Faculty PhD Scholar, with doctoral research on virtual surgical planning in total TMJ reconstruction. My research encompasses digital surgical planning, TMJ reconstruction, clinical outcomes, and translational innovation in cranio-maxillofacial surgery.
I have led multiple nationally funded research projects, authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, and hold several Indian patents in patient-specific reconstructive devices and TMJ prostheses.
I am a Fellow of the Indian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (FIBOMS), a member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS) and AO CMF, and completed the AO CMF Masters Course, Davos, Switzerland (2022).
