About
Dr. Alakesh Kalita is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computing at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. Prior to this, he was a Lecturer at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. His doctoral research was recognized with the Innovative Student Projects Award 2022 (equivalent to Best Thesis) by the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE). He is also a Senior Member of IEEE.
