About

My research interests involve understanding of the snowpack surface melt processes and estimation of snow geophysical properties in alpine topography. I use a combination of remote sensing techniques based on active microwave, multi-spectral and hyperspectral data. I am also interested in development of remote sensing models for the estimation of soil moisture and in other applications for earth observation, especially in Cryosphere and agriculture. I would also like to explore methodical research in snow water equivalent and permafrost studies using radar remote sensing. Besides this, I am also inclined to development of feature extraction approaches and dimensionality reduction techniques for classification of hyperspectral remote sensing with applications in Cryosphere and agriculture.
