Dr. Sunita Vikrant Dhavale, PhD(Computer Engineering), ME,BE

Dr. Sunita Vikrant Dhavale is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Engineering, Defense Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune. Her research area: Cyber Security, Steganography and Digital Watermarking, Biometrics, Video Surveillance, Computational Intelligence. She is EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH-v9). She is selected as one of the top performers in Four Week online FDP titled “FDP301x : Mentoring Educators in Educational Technology”, organized by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission for Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT), MHRD, GoI, IIT Bombay, during May 17th, 2018 to June 27th, 2018. She is is selected as one of the top performers in Four Week AICTE approved online FDP by IIT Bombay on - Use of ICT in Education for Online and Blended Learning, May 2nd, 2016 to July 10th, 2016. Her research paper titled, “State Transition Based Embedding in Cepstrum Domain for Audio Copyright Protection” published in IETE Journal of Research Vol 61 No 1, Jan-Feb 2015 issue, received IETE-M N Saha Memorial Award -2016 as Best Application Oriented Paper, 25th September-2016. She received Outstanding Women Achiever Award for Engineering Category by VENUS International Women Awards (VIWA-2016), March 2016. She also received academic advocate membership from ISACA, Information Systems Audit and Control Association for 2012-2018. She has published more than 20 research papers in international peer reviewed journals and conferences. She is recipient of NVIDIA Hardware research grant (TITAN-V GPU), 2018.
