CURRENT: Senior Consultant, Pediatric Cardiology, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, India. Currently heading the high volume Pediatric Cardiac Unit at Apollo.
Main Achievement: Establshed Neonatal and Premature baby Intervention Program. Smallest baby to have angioplasty 1.1 kg.
Feb 2003-March 2004: Consultant Incharge, Pediatric Cardiology & Consultant Incharge Non-Invasive Lab, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital:
Main Achievement: First transcatheter Flow restrictor Implant in India on 2 patients in August & October 2003; Balloon Angioplasty on a 1.7 Kg child.
Initiated the First Device Closure Program in this Hospital. Performed Challenging ASD Device Closures using “2 dilator technique”.
June 2001 to Jan 2003 : Director, Pediatric Cardiology, Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata.
Main Achievement: Establishment of a complete, functional and successful Pediatric Cardiac Unit with all fields including Non-Invasive, Invasive, Interventional (including device closures and technically advanced interventions), Peds Cardiac Intensive Care, Outpatient and Inpatient Services. Performed the first ASD Device closure in the city and established the ASD Device Closure program in the Institute. Performed the first VSD (Post MI) device Closure in East India.
Academic Achievements included 6 abstracts presented in International Conferences, several presentations in National meetings, Visits by Foreign Pediatric Cardiologists, Publications and DNB Pediatric Cardiology in process of starting.
Training Program: Pediatricians trained in Pediatric Echocardiography, Technicians trained in Pediatric echocardiography, trainees in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, Cath Lab technicians in Pediatric Interventions.
Oct „99 to May „01: Senior Consultant, Pediatric Cardiology, Doha, Qatar.

Main Achievement: Starting & Establishing Pediatric & Neonatal Interventional Lab for the first time in the country. Starting and establishing Cardiology support for Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. Established ASD Device Closure program in the country and peformed the first ASD Device Closure in the Country.
