About
With over ten years of teaching, research, and industrial experience, I am a passionate educator and researcher in the fields of manufacturing and materials science. I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, University of Chile. Prior to that, I worked as an Assistant Professor (senior grade) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, where I mentor and inspire students to pursue excellence in engineering and innovation. I also worked as a research fellow at the Green Energy Materials and Manufacturing Research Group, NIT Trichy, where I contributed to the design and synthesis of novel low-carbon thermoelectric materials for efficient energy harvesting applications. I have strong skills in project supervision, process improvement, material synthesis, and characterization. I can work independently and in a team to achieve the deliverables in time and in a challenging environment. I am committed to advancing the knowledge and practice of engineering and materials science for a sustainable and better future.
