About
Dr. Anwar Khursheed is Professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA. Prior to join KSU he was Professor and University Engineer, Building Department, AMU Aligarh. He did his under graduate and masters programme from AMU and PhD from IIT Roorkee. He possesses teaching and research experience of more than 37 years. He was involved many design and consultancy projects out of which 46 were major. He is mainly teaching subjects related to Environmental & Pollution Control Engineering. His research areas are Wastewater Treatment, Energy Recovery Processes, Nutrient Removal, and Reverse osmosis. He has published large number of papers & books in various International and National journals and conferences. Some of the journals in which his articles have been published are Water Research (Elsevier), Chemical Engineering Journal (Elsevier), Desalination (Taylor & Francis), Environ Monit Assess. (Springerlink), Water Sc. Technology (IWA), Resources, Conservation and Recycling (Elsevier), Journal of env Engg - ASCE etc. He is reviewer of all the above mentioned international journals.
He has completed large number of projects including Campuswide Networking on 10 Gigabyte OFC backbone & Camus Wi-Fiprojects. He also headed Computer Centre as its Director and FCI as Principal and presently he is the Nodal Officer of the Camus-wide Networking Project (Wi-Fi Project).
