Dr. Amit Alexander is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER-Guwahati), Department of Pharmaceutics, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, Guwahati, Assam, India. Dr. Alexander has teaching and research experience of more than 12 years. He is an active Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), London, United Kingdom (UK), Royal Society of Biology (FRSB), London, United Kingdom (UK), Controlled Release Society-Indian Local Chapter (CRS-IC), Mumbai, Indian Academy of Neuroscience (IAN) and a life fellow of Indian Chemical Society (FICS), Kolkata. To his credit, he has more than 144 scientific publications with a cumulative impact factor of 401.16, in different esteemed journals of international repute. He has 11 papers published in the Journal of Controlled Release, Elsevier having Impact Factor 9.776. His publications citations are 9900 and the h-index in Scopus is 29, and Google Scholar 55 and i10-index is 110 with 38.04 RG Score. He is also serving as a Review Editor in Frontier in Biomaterial Journal and Reviewer in various SCI-indexed Journals. He is also a reviewer of different SCI-indexed international journals of ACS, Elsevier, Taylor, and Francis, Wiley, Springer publications. He has presented many invited talks and oral presentations at various International and National scientific peer conferences and participated in seminars and conferences as keynote speaker/chairperson and evaluator. His key research
areas are the formulation of Novel Drug Delivery Systems for Alzheimer's Disease, In Situ Injectable Hydrogels, Solubility Enhancements, mesoporous silica nanoparticle, etc.
