About
I am graduate research assistant at the Department of Molecular Medicine, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology , Ghana with substantial experience in Immunology, Public Health and biostatistics with over sixteen years teaching experience. I teach, train and supervise, undergraduates in these thematic areas. A team player with a strong work and life ethic, coupled with talent and good academic record. Receptive to change, rise to challenge and always longing to learn something new. My research interest focuses on Disease pathogenesis, diagnostics, and immune mechanisms of cancers.
I am also a Reviewer for several journals in the field of immunology and public health notably, Scientific Report, BMC Cardiovascular Disorders, BMC Endocrine Disorder and Journal of Sleep Science and Practice. Currently, my research aims to develop a reliable liquid biopsy-based immune profiling technique and to delve into the proteomic dynamics associated with colorectal cancer. The integration of proteomics into cancer research represents a significant leap forward, offering unprecedented opportunities for identifying therapeutic targets and deciphering the disease's molecular mechanisms. This study aims to identify novel therapeutic targets to intercept the complex oncogenic processes driving cancers. Such advancements hold the promise of more effective and personalized treatment strategies, potentially transforming the management and prognosis of Cancer patients.
