About
Dr. Agnishwar Girigoswami has been an Indian Professor at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE) since 2010. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Kalyani, West Bengal, India, in 2004 and an M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Dr. Girigoswami's passion for scientific exploration started. His journey took him to the prestigious Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST), South Korea, where he delved into Zip-code microarray technology as a postdoctoral researcher to diagnose human genetic mutations. Simultaneously, he ventured into the captivating nanotechnology fused with DNA engineering, unlocking boundless possibilities. Dr. Girigoswami and his team spearhead cutting-edge research in nanoparticle-based theranostic tools, targeted drug delivery systems, photodynamic therapy, and bio-molecular spectroscopy.
Research Interest: Biomedical Nanotechnology, Nanotheranostics, Photodynamic
Therapy, Nanoenabled Drug Delivery, Biosensors, Colloidal Systems, DNA-Chip.
