About

Dr. Sanasam Ranbir Singh is presently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. He received PhD and MTech from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, and BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from NERIST. His primary research interest is Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Machine learning, and Social Media Data Mining. He is leading the Open Source Intelligence Research Group at IIT Guwahati. He had published close to 80 Peer Review papers in reputed international Journals and Conferences, and supervised 11 PhD Scholar. He is involved in several ongoing and successfully completed sponsored projects worth more than Rupees 18 crores in the capacity as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator.
