About
I am a Fulbright Scholar (USA), Chinese Academy of Sciences Fellow (China) and DST young Scientist Award recipient (India), who is working on carbon materials for various applications. These include development of heterogeneous catalysts for chemical transformation, Biomass conversion (HDO reaction, glycerol valorization and lignin conversion) and C-H bond activation. Also, I am using these materials for electrochemical reactions mainly the detection of heavy metals in polluted water sources and neurotransmitters in body fluids. I can synthesize organic compounds on commercial scale and I have more than 16 years of teaching and research experience.
