Dr. Sandeep Dahiya is presently working with Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, BPS Women University, Khanpur-Kalan, Sonepat since July 2009. He also served as Lecturer in Hindu College of Engineering, Sonepat for 8 years. He is having 21 years of experience in academic frontiers. He received his B.E. in Electronics Engineering in 2000, M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2006 and PhD in Electronics & Communication Engineering in 2017. He has also visited to present an invited paper and research interaction in International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE), San Diego Convention Center, California, USA from 28thAugust to 1st September 2016. He has also served as Editor of the proceedings of 2nd National Conference on “Machine Intelligence and Research Advancement” scheduled from 19/03/2015 to 20/03/2015 published by International publisher Manakin Press. He has rendered his duty in various positions such as member of FET, UGBOS, PGBOS, DRC, selection committee, screening committee, purchase committee, admission committee, AICTE approval process etc. centralized/department level. He worked as Training and Placement Officer of ECE and MBA (Tech) programmes of School of Engineering & Science and Member of University Placement and Counseling Cell (UPACC). Moreover, for academic growth and professional development he has convened/coordinated/organized various summer training programme, faculty workshops, FDPs, STTPs, National conference etc. funded by UGC, ISTE and University. He is the author of more than 50 research papers published and presented in National & International journals and conferences. Sandeep Dahiya has also two book chapters in his credit published by Springer Nature Singapore. He is supervising 02 PhD scholars, guided 12 M.Tech dissertations and numerous undergraduate projects.

Presently, he is a review editor and member of editorial board of Optics and Photonics (specialty section of Frontiers in Physics, Frontier in Astronomy and Space Sciences and Frontier in Materials). He has served as Editorial Board Member of American Journal of Optics and Photonics from 2017-2019. He is regular reviewer of the professional journals such as Optics and Laser Technology, Optical and Quantum Electronics, Springer, Journal of Optics, Journal of Nanophotonics, SPIE, IEEE, Optics Express, Signal Image and Video Processing, Microelectronics Journal, Elsevier, Journal of Optical Communications, Science Publishing Group, American Journal of Optics and Photonics, Applied Optics, Optical Society of America, Optical Engineering, Photonic Network Communications etc. He is also the recipient life member of Scientific and Professional societies such as Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Computer Society of India (CSI) and Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). His current research interests include High speed interconnects, Low power VLSI design, Nanotechnology design, Spintronics, Digital circuit design and modeling, Fiber Optics and Optical Communication, Photonics.
