About
Ph.D. Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of multifaceted experience spanning academic instruction, advanced research, and industrial leadership. An award-winning educator (recognized as Best Faculty Member multiple times between 2011–2017) committed to "research-led teaching" that bridges the gap between fundamental theories and real-world engineering. My research portfolio centers on bio-inspired self-cleaning surfaces, wettability control, and sustainable nanostructured materials, utilizing advanced characterization techniques to solve complex solid-fluid interaction problems. Complementing my academic background, my tenure as a CTO has equipped me with a unique ability to translate laboratory innovations into patentable, industry-ready technologies. I am eager to establish a dynamic research group and mentor students by integrating rigorous engineering principles with entrepreneurial thinking.
