Gour Chandra Mahata is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, Purulia - 723104, West Bengal, India. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in 1998 and 2000 respectively, from Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, India. He received his PhD in Inventory Control/Management, Operations Research in 2007 from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. His research interest focus on inventory control/management, fuzzy and/or stochastic fuzzy inventory control, supply chain management, operations research and optimization theory.
