Dr. J. R. Dhanuskar is an academician and researcher with extensive teaching and research experience in Civil Engineering. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Pune (since August 2022). Over the years, he has held faculty positions at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur; Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha; G.H. Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur;; Datta Meghe College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai; Alamuri Ratnamala Institute of Engineering and Technology, Thane; G.H. Raisoni Academy of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur; and Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur.
He pursued his doctoral research as a Research Scholar at VNIT Nagpur (2016–2021), focusing on steel structures and connection behavior, with specialization in block shear and shear lag effects.
