About

I am a Life‑Science Research Scholar (PhD) with extensive experience in scientific research, laboratory operations, and clinical study management. I am currently seeking opportunities in clinical research, project management, scientific support, or global operations to contribute to advancements in healthcare while transitioning from academia to industry.

For the past five years, I have been working in Leica Application Development, where I produce high‑quality biological demo materials—primarily through immunostaining—for advanced imaging applications. These materials support a wide range of teams, including Development, Training, Marketing, Sales, and Application. My work contributes directly to the performance and demonstration of leading imaging systems such as STELLARIS WLL + NIR / STED, MICA, THUNDER, MATEO FL, and Viventis SCAPE.

Before joining Leica, I worked in a pharmaceutical environment focused on IT‑based personalized diagnostic approaches. My role expanded into the field of international multicenter clinical studies, including study setup, execution, monitoring, and management.

During my training at the Center for Clinical Trials (KKS), Marburg, Germany, and subsequent full‑time role as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) at Centogene AG, Rostock, I was responsible for more than 30 global clinical studies focused on rare genetic diseases. My responsibilities included day‑to‑day clinical project management, monitoring, compliance oversight, and ensuring adherence to protocols, study objectives, and regulatory requirements. Across these studies, more than 2,000 patients were enrolled within a 12‑month period at sites across multiple countries.

I bring strong academic and industry foundations, with rigorous training in Cellular & Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. I successfully secured German national research funding to conduct independent postdoctoral research at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, University of Bochum, and the Institute of Medical Microbiology, University of Giessen. In these roles, I also supervised a team of biomedical researchers, gaining experience in leadership, mentoring, and project coordination.

Across all my roles, I have demonstrated a commitment to scientific excellence, cross‑functional collaboration, and the advancement of research and clinical practices.
