About
With an undergrad in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and MPH from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden, I am a public health nutritionist with 12 years of professional experience in intervention design, implementation, and conducting research. Currently I am working as an Associate Researcher at BRAC University, Bangladesh where I perform analysis of data from interventional studies to estimate the effects. As a corresponding author, I have published several articles in the field of nutrition, dietary assessment, breastfeeding and multidisciplinary fields in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, I review manuscripts for journals published by SN, PLOS, and Elsevier. I am trained in conducting systematic review and meta-analysis, analysis of population based nationally representative data (e.g., Demographic and Health Surveys), and mixed-methods research. With proficiencies of analyzing data using STATA, SPSS, and R, I obtained professional expertise on applying advanced statistical tools in my area of research, including public health nutrition, intervention evaluation, and synthesizing evidence through meta-analysis.
