About
I am a Botanist specializing in Phytochemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Metabolomics, with a research focus on elucidating the therapeutic potential of medicinal plants. My work integrates traditional medicinal knowledge with advanced scientific methods, including chromatographic, spectrometric, and bioassay-guided approaches, to identify bioactive compounds and develop natural product-based lead molecules. I investigate phytochemical responses under abiotic stress, study structure–activity relationships (SAR), and contribute to the development of standardized, safe, and efficacious herbal formulations. My broader interests include natural product drug discovery, medicinal plant biotechnology, and the ecological significance of secondary metabolites. Alongside research, I am committed to teaching, mentoring, and contributing to academic governance and institutional development.
