About
Dr. Nidhi Singh received her B.Tech(Electrical) and M.Tech(Control System) degree from REC(now NIT) Kurukshetra in 1996 and 2001 respectively. She did her Ph.D from theElectrical Engineering Department, IIT Roorkee in 2008. She is affiliated to Department of Electrical Engineering, Gautam Buddha University since 2011 as Assistant Professor. She has more than 16 years of experience in Teaching learning and research. She has published more than 90 papers in national and international journals and conferences of repute and also published many book chapters. She has been awarded with the best paper award (2007) and best paper presentation award (2004 & 2005) in different conferences. She is also the reviewer of many reputed journals. She has given a number of invited talks in different conferences, seminars, workshops and faculty development programmes. has supervised 04 Ph.D. and 87 Masters Students and currently supervising 04 Ph.D. students. Her research interests are in the areas of Control System Analysis and optimization using Evolutionary Techniques, Reduced Order Modeling and controller design for large scale systems, Modeling, Identification and control of nonlinear systems, Energy harvesting from photovoltaic solar system. She is having an active association with many societies like Indian Society for Technical Engineers (ISTE), Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS) and IEEE.
