Prashant Pandey

About

Researcher specializing in translational nanomedicine, targeted drug delivery, and cancer therapeutics, with a record of bridging laboratory discovery and clinical application. My work integrates formulation and development, molecular biology, extracellular vesicle research, and in vivo preclinical models to design clinically relevant therapeutic systems. I have developed multifunctional nanocarriers, ligand-functionalized liposomes, polymeric micelles, and biomaterial scaffolds for applications in cancer therapy, wound healing, and tissue regeneration. As a SERB-Overseas Visiting Doctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta, I advanced mechanistic investigations into the protein corona and combination therapies, fostering international collaborative standards. I have authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, earning 1500+ citations (h-index 20). My contributions to the scientific community include serving as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences (Sage). Editorial Board Member for Springer’s Discover Pharmaceutical Sciences, Discover Oncology, and securing multiple patented technologies for biomimetic wound-healing systems. I am committed to developing patient-centric, "smart" therapeutic platforms that integrate chemical design principles with real-world clinical needs.
