About
I am a GIS professional and environmentalist with over eight years of industry experience and a strong academic foundation (B.A ad M.A in Geography; PhD in Environmental Sciences, Amity University). My work bridges rigorous research and applied spatial solutions, focusing on spatial planning, land‑use and land‑cover (LULC) mapping, and ecological modeling.
Across government, consultancy, and academic projects, I design and implement reproducible spatial workflows: multi‑temporal LULC classifications, habitat suitability and connectivity models, and decision‑support tools for planners and policymakers. I am proficient in ArcGIS and QGIS and various other softwares.
Key strengths include scenario‑based spatial planning, accuracy‑assessed LULC mapping, geodatabase design and metadata standards, and automation for reproducible analyses. I prioritize data quality, transparent methods, and clear visualization so outputs are actionable for conservation, urban planning, and infrastructure resilience.
I combine academic rigor with hands‑on project delivery to solve real‑world environmental problems. I enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration—working with ecologists, planners, and developers—to produce scalable GIS products that support sustainable development and evidence‑based policy.
