About
Dr. Sharad Wakode is presently working as Professor at Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) a constituent college of DPSRU,Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
He has completed his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Department of Pharmacy, S.G.S.I.T.S, Indore under R.G.P.V, Bhopal, M.Pharm. from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and B.Pharm.from N.D.M.V.P.S., College of Pharmacy, Nasik under University of Pune.
Dr. Wakode received Young Scientist Award grant, under Fast Track scheme from Dept. of Science and Technology. His research interest includes designing, planning and synthesizing new organic molecules of therapeutic interest and its biological evaluation. He has supervised 07 Ph.D., 45 M. Pharm. students and supervising 6 Ph.D.,3 M.Pharm. students.
He has more than 95 publications in international and national journals and two book chapters. He has more than 27 years of teaching experience. Prior to joining DIPSAR through UPSC in 2001, he worked with Wockhardt Ltd and Vidyabharti College of Pharmacy, Amravati. He is associated with various professional associations like APTI, IPGA, SPER, APP, APSE and he delivered guest lectures, chaired many sessions in various international and national conferences. He is expert in various committees of AICTE, PCI, AYUSH. He is registered Guide for PhD in Delhi University, DPSR University. He is member of Academic council DPSRU, BOS for Central University of Rajasthan, IGNTU, Amarkantak, GJU Hissar, Amity Universty & expert for Hamdard University, MS University, Goa university, SGB Amravati University.
