About

Dr. Apoorv Saraswat is currently an Assistant Professor ( Senior Scale) in the Department of Chemistry at Ramashray Baleshwar College in Dalsingsarai, which is a constituent college of Lalit Narayan Mithila University in Darbhanga. With over 10 years of teaching experience and 17 years of research experience, he specializes in Organic Chemistry, particularly in the fields of electrochemistry and polymer science.

He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Allahabad in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, focusing on the topic "Electrochemically Enabled Driven Organic Reactions" under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Rana Krishna Pal Singh, who is the former Vice-Chancellor of D.S.M.N.R. University in Lucknow. Dr. Saraswat is also a recipient of the CSIR-NET from New Delhi.

In addition, he serves as a Counselor at Uttarakhand Open University at P. N. G. Govt. P.G. College in Ramnagar, Haldwani, Uttarakhand. Previously, he worked as a Lab Chemist in the Quality Control Department at India Glycol Limited, a reputed petrochemical multinational corporation located in Kashipur, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand.

Dr. Saraswat has extensive experience in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed significantly to the global academic community through his reviews for well-known publishers such as Wiley and Bentham Science. In 2020, he reviewed manuscripts for the Journal of Applied Polymer Science and Chemistry Select, for which he received recognition for his insightful contributions.

His research publications have appeared in several esteemed journals, including the European Polymer Journal, the Russian Journal of Organic Chemistry, and the Journal of the Indian Chemical Society, along with numerous UGC-listed and Scopus-indexed journals. This highlights his vital role in the global scientific community.

Dr. Saraswat's work focuses on cutting-edge applications of polyaniline composites, electrochemical functionalization, and green synthesis techniques. He has published over 25 research papers, achieved an h-index of 09 (according to SCOPUS), authored five book chapters, and delivered numerous invited talks, which underscore his contributions to electrochemical catalysis and sustainable organic transformations.
