About
Dr. Santosh Kumar Choudhary is currently an Assistant Professor at the Manipal Institute of Technology, a constituent unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India—an Institute of Eminence declared by the Government of India. He received a PhD degree in Systems Modeling & Control from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and holds an M.Tech degree in Astronomy & Space Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE, Manipal, Karnataka. Prior to this, he graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) and an M.Sc in Mathematics from A.N. College, Patna, Bihar.
He is an interdisciplinary researcher working at the crossroads of applicable mathematics, with a particular focus on systems modeling and control. His expertise lies in developing mathematical models and control strategies for complex dynamical systems, and he rigorously validates system behavior and performance through numerical simulations. His interdisciplinary research interests in Applicable Mathematics include Control & Optimization, Dynamical Systems, Orbital Mechanics, H∞ Control theory, Optimal Control, Scientific Computing, Modeling & Simulation, and Computational Mathematics. Beyond research, he is also committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of scholars.
He has expertise in MATLAB/SIMULINK, MATHEMATICA, MAPLE, and C/C++, frequently utilizing them in his research for numerical simulations and computing. He is also a certified Python programmer.
Furthermore, he is a member of the Institution of Engineers (India), the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), and the Indian Society of Systems for Science and Engineering (ISSE).
