Nirmal Kumar is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Prairie View A&M University, Texas, USA. He holds a Ph.D. in Water Resources and is an experienced hydrologist and environmental researcher, with a specialization in surface and subsurface hydrology. His key research areas include:
(a). Sustainable management practices for environmental modeling, with a focus on greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction and carbon stock enhancement,
(b). Nature-based solutions for improving water quality and crop yield,
(c). Development and promotion of environmentally friendly commodities,
(d). Hydrological modeling and analysis,
(e). Assessment of river stage and discharge using satellite altimetry data, and
