About
My work as a postdoc associate at UNC, Chapel Hill, US is to identify the immune signaling/ pathways to advance the therapeutic interventions of necrotic enterocolitis (NEC) which is a destructive gastrointestinal disease and a leading cause of death in premature infants. To achieve our goal, we are using advanced molecular, immunology-gut immune cell isolation and characterization, and microbiology techniques such as 'Gut-on-a-chip' model, enteroid culture, single-cell sequencing, detection of DNA methylation, ELISA, microbiota analysis, flow cytometry, RNAseq, Confocal microscopy, and others.
