GAURAV ANAND
Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University
About
I, Gaurav Anand am a PhD scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, India. I earned my B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, India, and my M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur.
My research focuses on composite fabrication and non-traditional machining techniques, mainly EDM and wire-EDM. I have extensively employed advanced tools such as a non-contact 3D optical profilometer and FESEM-EDS for the surface characterization of machined components. Additionally, I have expertise in multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM), metaheuristic algorithms, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
