• Strati-structural 2D/3D seismic interpretation, seismic-well data validation, tectonics-basin evolution, mapping, basin analysis, G & G studies supporting field reviews and development plans. Regional to Prospect evaluation. Interpretation leads to hydrocarbon discovery.
• Experienced in working in international basins with Palaeozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic petroleum systems encompassing various tectonic regimes (Extensional, Compressional and Strike-Slip Pull-Apart).
• Investigation of stratigraphic evolution in the frontier deep-water region.
• Characterization of depositional settings of the basin-fill sediments in the deep-water frontier region, play types interpretation.
• Electro facies and rock fluid properties analysis of carbonate platform.
• Subsurface depositional model build-ups and awareness of QI, inversion and geocellular modelling.
• Experienced in working in both carbonate (carbonate platform and reefs) and clastic (MTD and turbidites) depositional environments including deep-water channel-levee complex.
• Expertise in seismic stratigraphic interpretation, seismic facies analysis and seismic attribute analysis. Proficient in handling industry-standard software like Petrel etc.
• Regional structural and stratigraphic outcrop studies in India, Myanmar, and Madagascar basins.
• Dry hole analysis, sequence stratigraphic interpretation based on well log and seismic data.
• Publications of papers in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Reviewer of international peer-reviewed journals. Experienced in writing research grants/proposals.
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented team member with excellent presentation skills, experienced in working in multidisciplinary and multi-national technical team environments. Mentor and develop junior technical /research staff.
