About
I am a full Professor working at the Department of Chemical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali. Prior to joining IISER Mohali (in 2008), I completed PhD from University of Goettingen, Germany and Post-doctoral research at University of Cambridge (UK).
My research interests are in the frontier areas of inorganic and organometallic chemistry including synthesis, catalysis and reaction mechanism. The systems that we currently investigate are main group and transition metal carbene complexes (CAAC and BICAAC), low coordinated cationic Lewis acid complexes of group 13 elements, and inorganic and organic-inorganic hybrid pyridinophanes, macrocycles and cryptands.
