Dr Anupam Das completed MBBS (2010) and MD Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy (2015) from Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, under The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, and received the University Gold Medal for being the topper in MD,2015. He was conferred the Fellowship by Association of Clinical Dermatologists (India), FACDI and Fellowship by Royal College of Physicians (London), FRCP London, both in 2024. He is presently working as the Editor, Pigment International; Associate Editor, Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, Associate Editor, Indian Journal of Dermatology; Assistant Editor, Indian Journal of Paediatric Dermatology. He served as Editorial Consultant, British Journal of Dermatology (2019-21), Section Editor, Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology (2018-22), Member, Special Interest Group, Dermatology Clinical Research, IADVL (2020-21) and Member, Special Interest Group, Recalcitrant Dermatophytosis, IADVL (2021-22). He was an invited speaker in World Congress of Dermatology, Milan, 2019 on “Future of Leprosy” He has more than 450 scientific publications to his credit. He has received multiple scholarships including Travel Grant to present a paper in EAACI (European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology) Congress, 2025, International Federation of Pigment Cell Societies Travel Award to attend the 24th International Pigment Cell Conference, Japan, 2020; World Congress of Dermatology Rising Star Scholarship to attend World Congress of Dermatology, 2015, 2019 and 2023; and Imrich Sarkany Non European Memorial scholarship to attend 26th Congress of European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology,2017. He has been featured in the Top 2% scientists' list published by Stanford University (Elsevier), 2025. He has been conferred the Best Researcher Award, 2026 by European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV).
