Dr. D.K. Setua is PhD (Rubber Technology) from IIT, Kharagpur, India. He joined Defence Research & Development Organization at DMSRDE, Kanpur in 1984 and now holding post of Additional Director. He was a Visiting Scientist at Institute of Polymer Engineering, Akron, USA during 1989 to 1991. Dr. Setua has published 65 research papers in international and national journals, 2 patents, 5 chapter of books and more than 120 research papers in international / national seminars and conferences. He is Adjunct Professor of IIT, Kharagpur, executive member of Indian Thermal Analysis Society (ITAS), member of Governing Council of Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association (IRMRA), member of Research Advisory Committee of Shriram Institute for Industrial Research, Society of Plastic Engineers, USA and Editorial Board Member of Journal of Applied Polymer Science and Intl. Journal of Plastic and Polymer Tech.(PAPT) and Director designate of University of Hyderabad (UoH).
