About

I am a translational cell and molecular biologist specializing in the development of advanced human in vitro disease models to study genetic and developmental disorders. My research integrates patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) systems and three-dimensional organoid platforms with molecular, biochemical, and phenotypic analyses to investigate disease mechanisms.

I have established and optimized iPSC-derived cartilage organoid models in an academic research setting, enabling the translation of molecular defects into functional cellular phenotypes. My work is grounded in glycobiology and molecular genetics, with an emphasis on understanding extracellular matrix biology and its role in human disease.

My broader research interests focus on leveraging stem cell–based platforms for disease modeling, assay development, and therapeutic exploration, with the goal of advancing translational applications in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research.
