A vibrant active learner of the disciple positioned as the Professor of Sociology in the Department of Social Sciences, School of Social Sciences and Languages, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamilnadu, India. Holding a 20+ years of experience in the field of sociology my passion towards the subject has never faded since the understanding of human behavior is complex. The research area of interest includes Sociology of Health and well-being, Sociology of Gender studies, Social change, and Social Networking of adolescents. By understanding the social dynamics and development in the various fields of sociology have authored about 15 indexed publications and book chapters. The quest for the subject has driven me to chair and participate in various conferences, sessions, and lecture of eminent sociologist around the globe.
