RESEARCH / WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Working as Sr. Scientist of Inhana Organic Research Foundation (IORF), Kolkata – An Agriculture based Research Organization working in the field of Organic Farming (From June, 2006 - till date).
2. Worked as a Senior Research Fellow in National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning (NBSS & LUP), Kolkata (From Sept., 2001 to December, 2004).
3. Worked as sales trainee in Godrej Agrovet (From Feb, 2001 to August, 2001)

HIGHLIGHTS OF 17 YEARS CAREER AS AN AGRICULTURIST

1. Experience of overseeing more than 20 tea estates as consultant for organic and chemical reduction programme with leading tea groups viz. Goodricke Group Ltd., APPL, Chamong Group., K. Manibhai Group. and PCM Group for last 12 years.
2. Association with International Project of FAO-CFC-TBI for development of Effective and Sustainable Organic Package of Practice (2008 – 2013), as a team member.
3. Actively involved in different Organic Projects & Organic Seed Development program with Agricultural Universities, KVK, NABARD and Gram Panchayats.
4. Experience in formulating and conducting 12 organic projects for MSc. (Ag.) students of Calcutta University & Visva-Bharati University.
5. Co-editor of 6 Research Bulletins on Organic Farming, 1 Book on Good Agricultural Practice and co-author of more than 50 research articles on different aspects of organic farming in National/International Journal & Conference. Altogether more than 85 research articles on different aspects of agri- science.
6. Experience of Soil Survey, Quality Analysis, Soil Resource Mapping, SWOT Study, Socio-economic survey and land use planning for the farming community.
