About
I am a Registered Nutritionist and Senior Research Fellow at UCL with over 25 years’ experience in public health nutrition. As a senior researcher in the NIHR Healthy Weight Policy Research Unit, I lead mixed methods research to provide evidence to support policy decisions. Recent projects have explored marketing and labelling of commercial milk formula and infant food, calorie labelling on alcohol, and children’s perceptions of calorie and nutrient labelling. I also teach and supervise BSc, MSc and PhD students and have written several practical books about healthy eating for pregnancy and the early years.
