About

My present area of research is to developing eco-friendly technology to manage diseases on fresh and stored commodities. Our applied work is to develop nonantibiotic producing bio-pesticides as Yeast and also to formulation Trichoderma into safe plant growth promoters. Yeast and Trichoderma spp. were employed as bio-agents for the control to important fruits. This work has been further expanded by using indigenous epiphytic and endophytic microflora. Beside, herbs and essential oil from plant origin have been successfully employed against diseases to eliminate use of synthetic chemical causing environmental pollution and health hazards. Now developing a bio-formulation, which integrates various physical, biological and nonchemical methods.
Based on these finding certain scientific recognition as Best Teacher Award (2019),Young Scientist Award (2019), Young Environmentalist Award (2019), Vishisht Nagrik Sammaan (2019), Young Scientist Award (2018), Ruchi Ram Sahni Award (2012), Best Poster award (2017, 2018) have also been granted.
