Dr. Natrayan is currently serving as the Associate Dean of Accreditation at SIMATS Deemed University in Chennai, India. He completed his PhD at Vellore Institute of Technology, India. His academic journey includes a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Selvam College of Technology, Namakkal, and an M.E in Engineering Design from Anna University - Chennai, as well as an MBA in Operational Management from RVD University - Rajasthan, India.

With a keen interest in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Dr. Natrayan's research is primarily focused on the mathematical analysis of material models and non-homogeneous materials. His outstanding contributions to academia have been recognized with the prestigious SIMATS Best Faculty (Rank 1) award in 2022, along with 22 additional research awards from SIMATS.

Dr. Natrayan's PhD work has led to the granting of two Indian utility patents, and 65 Indian utility patents have been published online. He has also authored several technical books in Engineering Design, including Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Engineering Graphics which is available on Amazon (https://www.amazon.in/Engineering-Graphics-Natrayan-Lakshmaiya/dp/6139473004). With over 360 research publications indexed in Scopus, and a cumulative Web of Science Impact Factor 850+, his work has attracted more than 10,000 citations. This has resulted in an H-index of 50+ and an i-10 index of 210+, reflecting his significant impact in the field of engineering research.

Dr. Natrayan has been recognized by Elsevier and Stanford University - USA as one of the 'Top 2% Scientists in the World,' highlighting his significant impact and contributions to the field.
