An academician and a material scientist with more than three decades of experience in the field of material science. Her work specializes in dielectric and ferroelectric materials with key interest in the development of efficient energy storage materials.
Dr. Seema is a Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur and currently a member of five eminent research bodies of India and the world. She has authored six book chapters and more than 135 research articles in international refereed journals.
Professor Seema has been awarded with 5 international fellowships as visiting researcher and/or visiting scientist. Also, her other noteworthy works include supervision of 4 Ph.D. students, 8 completed projects, 4 ongoing national and international projects and many more yet to come.
