S. Laskar: She obtained her Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Gauhati University in the year 1983 and M. Tech and PhD degree from IIT Kharagpur in the year 1987 and 2002 respectively. Her research interest is Optical sensors and Instrumentation. At present she is working as the Head of the Department of EEE of Don Bosco College of Engineering and Technology under Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati, Assam, India.
