About
Dr Aneesh Kumar is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Christ University, Bengaluru, India. His research interests include socio-emotional development and learning, play, student mental health and wellbeing, positive schooling and parenting, and in teaching psychology. He is more inclined into research towards prevention and promotion interventions and uses mixed designs. He is involved in research projects, including the development of gratitude among cultures, incorporating character strengths into the early school curriculum, and student mental health through a positive schooling program. His interest also has been in developing a professional network, partnership and research in the area of psychology learning and teaching especially for Asian Educators. He represents India at the International Committee on Undergraduate Psychology Outcomes (ICUPO). He is a member of academic boards and associations. He has held various leadership positions at the University, published and presented papers in various national and international forums.
