About
I have completed my PhD from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), and carried out my research work at CSIR-NEIST, JORHAT ( ASSAM) in the Chemical Engineering Group, Chemical Sciences and Technology Division (CSTD) under the supervision of Dr Pravin G. Ingole (Scientist E, CSIR-NEIST and Associate Professor, AcSIR). My work focused on studying membrane separation science and technology for the efficient removal of micropollutants from water. My expertise includes the fabrication of sustainable thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) membranes incorporated with 2D nanomaterials, Nanofiltration (NF) membranes, and water purification, focusing on the removal of micropollutants (especially focused on pharmaceutical compounds) from water.
I recently joined Purdue University as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant under the supervision of Prof. David Warsinger (Associate Professor, School of Mechanical Engineering). My current research focuses on the design and fabrication of energy-efficient reverse osmosis (RO) membranes for advanced water desalination applications.
