Dr. Jai Kishon Goswami is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Department of Media Studies, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, Karnantaka. He has a Bachelor of Science from Ranchi University, a Master of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, a Master of Arts in English Literature, and a Ph.D. in Journalism & Mass Communication from Ranchi, Jharkhand. He is a Gold Medalist in the Master of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication.
Previously, he has worked at Sharda University, Greater Noida, UP; Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (Deemed to be University), Faridabad, Gurugram, Haryana; Amity University Chhattisgarh; and AP Goyal Shimla University, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. He has published more than 15 research papers in national and international journals of repute and contributed five book chapters to date.
He is a peer reviewer in the journal "Commed: Jurnal Komunikasi dan Media," published by the Communication Studies Program at Putera University, Batam, Indonesia; an editor in Research Analysis & Evaluation; a reviewer in the International Journals of Creative Thoughts; and an editor in the National Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Development, Delhi, India, and a few more journals. His research areas are development communication, film and documentary studies, and cultural studies.
