About

I am a public health researcher based in India. My initial training was in nutrition and public health. I have a PhD from Penn State University followed by a post-doc at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in the US. My research involves investigating early-life nutritional and non-nutritional (environmental chemical and non-chemical stressors) exposures and the impact on child health and development. I have experience of working in diverse settings with multicultural and interdisciplinary teams. I have worked with school children in Uruguay, mother-child dyads from a racially-diverse prenatal cohost in the US, and most recently, in Eastern India (Patna, Bihar).
