About
I am Dr. Palanirajan Vijayarajkumar.,B. Pharm, M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics)., RPh, PGDTT, PhD (Pharmaceutical Sciences). In 2003, I have received National Doctoral Fellowship under quality improvement program sponsored by All India council of Technical Education, New Delhi, India. I have completed my Ph.D in Dr. Harisingh Gour University (A Central University, India) formerly known as Sagar university under the humble guidance of Prof. N.K.Jain., B. Pharm., M.Pharm., PhD in Nov 2007 as a full time research scholar. I have published my research findings in high impact journals, among that one of my team members original articles titled "Dendrimers in oncology: an expanding horizon" was published in ACS publishers Chemical Reviews.
After My PhD I have continued teaching and research career and guided sixteen postgraduate students and six PhD student research projects. I have undergone various training programs to update my knowledge and skills as well as I used to update resent developments in my field by spending time to read research, review articles as well as international patents. I have successfully helped my team members to developed course modules for BSc formulation sciences (Hon) in hybrid mode, MSc (Pharmaceutical Technology) mixed mode (30% course work and 70% research), MSc (Pharmaceutical Sciences) in research mode.
In 2010, my contributions to scientific society were recognized with Pharma Help Line Society, India and I have received Young Scientist Award. Further, my continuous contribution in research, I have received the Promising researcher Award from UCSI University in 2016, Malaysia. In 2017 I received a Brown medal for developing Carica Papaya capsules for dengue patients from the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. In 2018 I have received an InnoCentive Award from USA, for developing Novel Cardiac-Specific Ligands for Targeted Drug Delivery sponsored by SERVIER international and independent pharmaceutical company governed by a non-profit foundation from France. Further, one of my research formulations was recognized by USA federal science shown in their website under "Sample records for formulations show good" in 2018, by U.S Federal Science "http's: //www.science.gov/topic pages/f/formulations+show+good. html" Based on this achievement I have received the BEST Researcher award from UCSI University in 2019. In 2020, One of our formulation received Silver Medal in ITEX2020 (32 International Invention, Innovation Market Place for Innovation and Technology Exhibition, Malaysia).
