About
Deepak Kumar Chandel is a researcher in Mechanical and Materials Engineering with expertise in surface engineering and advanced alloy systems. His research focuses on the development and characterization of High Entropy Alloy (HEA) coatings using TIG weld cladding, with emphasis on microstructural evolution, wear behavior, and performance under extreme conditions. He has published four research papers in SCI-indexed journals. He has also demonstrated strong academic performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), securing All India Ranks of 2569 in Mechanical Engineering, 139 in Production and Industrial Engineering, and 27 in Naval & Marine Engineering. His research interests further include the application of machine learning techniques for predicting tribological performance and optimizing material properties
