Dr. Usmangani K. Chhalotiya is working as Associate Professor, Department of
Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analysis at Indukaka Ipcowala College of Pharmacy, New Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand, Gujarat since 2009. He earned B. Pharm, M. Pharm and Ph. D degree from A R & G H Patel Institute of Pharmacy, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand. He has 17.0 years of professional experience. He has published 1 book and 105 scientific research papers in peer reviewed reputed national and international journals in
his credit.
Dr. Usman has guided 24 PG students and 5 students are pursuing their Ph D, and headed 4 consultancy projects. He received many times grant from GUJCOST, GSBTM and Gujarat State Pharmacy Council to organize seminars/conference/Refresher Courses/Webinars.
Dr. Chhalotiya has been honoured as P. D. Sethi Awardee in “Certificate of Merit” category for 7 published Research Manuscript in the year of 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2021 respectively. He is appointed as a Ph D supervisor in Gujarat Technological University and The Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) University. He is a member of local inspection committee of Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad
and many times appointed as PCI inspector. He is having a life time
membership APTI.
His core area of research is Analytical method development and validation, Impurity profiling, Forced Degradation study in bulk and pharmaceutical
dosage forms.
